Korea 's young man have to work in army 2 years as duty.

◆軍には来年初めに入隊

　崔洪万は今年上半期に入隊通知書を受け取るものとみられている。崔洪万は1999年の身体検査で4級公益勤務の判定を受けた。以前は身長が196センチ以上の場合、兵役免除の措置が取られたが、同年1月に兵役法が変わり、身長に対する制限規定が廃止された。

　問題は時期だ。崔洪万の代理人、パク・ユヒョン氏は「軍には当然行く。しかしK−1との契約を考え、来年初めごろの入隊を予定している。東亜大大学院を今年卒業するため、来年初めまで入隊を延ばすことができる」と語った。

　すでにK−1を代表するファイターとしての地位を確立した崔洪万は、年末のK−1ダイナマイト大会などメジャーな大会に参戦した後、来年1月−3月までに入隊するものとみられる。　

　K−1との契約は来年までだが、兵役服務後に（残りの）契約を履行しても何ら問題はない。
