And, i heard that many fiction combat movie is made in Hollywood.

generally speaking,Great fiction story,movie,and omics influence real society. Martial art wrold too.

For Example, many many real fighters were born by B. Lee and J. Chan movies.

when the history went back and a lot of real fighters were born.

in Japan?

yes,especially.The cartoon(MANGA,graphic model) is a very popular entertainment in Japan.

And, there are a lot of combative sports cartoons.
HOKUTO NO KEN, Dragonball etc.....

Then, I want to introduce the cartoon of very famous MMA (street fighting ) MANGA to you in Japan now.

It is "HOLYLAND"
Written by Mori Kouji.

This story continued for eight years from 2000, and finally did finish in 2008.

This story tells not simple fighting game but also solitude and suffering in youth.

The fight is very real, this comic show us many interesting and maniac MMA technics.

And, This is ""Best kid" of the version of the 21st century" .IMO.
a weak and thin boy become strong. by combat sports.

Shimokita---this is one of Downtown one in Tokyo.(this is actual town )

There are many outlow boys(badboys,street gang) in this town.but a rumor coming......among them.
"A misterious strong guy attacked us"

the misterious guy is called "The yankee hunter(The yankee's meaning changed gradually in Japan, it means the bad boy now) ".

this yankee hunter is KAMISHIRO Yu. high school student.

He was neither an outlaw nor a bodboy.

Oppositely, he was bullied in scool,so he continue the truancy. in home.
doing the suicidal attempt...
His body ls thin, very naive boy face is like woman.

Ok,Why could he knock the badboys out?

It is because the how-to book on the boxing.

He is far from sportman,but when he is keeping the house, He read only this how-to book.and repeated and repeated shadowboxing near by 5,000 a day. this training is to forget Solitude and suffering the mind, he wanted to repeat simple body work innocently.

In this atory, most of fights are street no rule fight,but style is like MMA. by situation like this .

KAMISHIRO Yu became famous as "Yankee hunter" Yu have to come to FIGHT group,and have to do DUEL. although he did not hope it.

There were a lot of street fighters near Yuu.

"Charisma of the street" IZAWA Masakiwas former high school boxing, champ. top of tops in sterrts.
there are a lot of results, and Masaki Izawa that stands in the top of this bud waiter's DUEL now.
Izawa Mai is his younger sister. Yu's friend cute girl.

Shin is Yu's good friend. far from streetfight boy.but kind,bright and happyis into whom Yuu doesn't attitude to Yu.

Shougo Midorikawa can do magnificent technique of Karate.

Tsuchiya who also is great wrestling, fighter and has human capacity.

IWATO is Heavyweight's gigantic figure with black belt of judo.

Taka is expert of kendo (It is traditional fencing in Japan) that uses the wooden sword.

No rule fighter and Kato does unfair and irregular attack.

Yoshii is a bosses in the dark has a lot of soldiers.and a knife master .

finally,Yu have to fight with a perfect criminal who tries to rule this town by drug,
or a professional fighter want to do ralfight.He heard rumor

they has a lot of individuality and original technics.... very dangerous fighters.

To KAMISHIRO Yu,They destroy between each other, and had strange friendship at one stage.
